Winter Day

It was a blustery 12 degrees this morning. Listening to my quiet music that only I like, soaking in the peace of God, lighting my candles. Cleaning a bit, working a puzzle, reflecting.
Contemplating the shadow they saw on x-ray in my sinus area-definitely a mass of some sort-got to go get it checked-It's amazing how everything is looking different to me right now. Just want to grab everybody around me and take them in. Life is precious. Believing for complete dissolution of what ever it is-along with the gagillion symptoms I am having and was even before this appeared. My faith is built on The Rock and that is good!

New Year

Taking the first part of 2011 to reflect and relax. Schedule is pushed back for the day, late breakfast-taquito from What-a-burger and pumpkin bread from last night, 3 cups of coffee, then on to watch the Horned Frogs at 4:00 at Hayley and Daniel's. Made celery with pimento cheese sticks for later and thawing out a key lime pie. Real tough!!
Bills paid that are due but no budget done yet-too fuzzy headed from seeing the new year in-no drinking just stayed up late. Nice dinner with friends and relaxed conversation-praying the new year in/blessed time.

Lovely weather

This fantabulous beautiful fall weather makes me feel as if I am on vacation. Even if I do have a gigantic headache from pollen and/or stress. Trying to snap out of it and enjoy this day that the LORD has made! My goal to lose 5 pounds and then not worry about it anymore has hit a snag-I've gained a ound and a half since I started-I think the pumpkin cheesecake (Fri.), the Waffle House waffle, and the Sweet Sammy's on Sunday has taken a toll- Back to the drawing board!

Beginning to Blog

Greetings to all my fans! This is a first for me-I have now joined this generation and am
beginning the adventure of blogging. My hubby is at a retreat this week-end-so I
am having a rare night alone. My sister, Tonya and I went shopping this morning and I bought candles which I love-the scent of Midnight Jasmine is wafting through the house-This is a scent I thought I wouldn't like but who knew-it is exotic-
Since, my daughter, Hayley set this site up for me I am dedicating this first attempt
to her.-Way to go Hayley!!!! You are a gem! And I know you will be reading this, so God Bless!
We celebrate my son David's birthday this week-end and guess where he wants to eat -
a restaurant called TEXAS LOVE & WAR. Never heard of it but sounds like it will be a hoot.
